The first application I built during Randamu's Threshold Cryptography Bootcamp was a provably fair launchpad — a tool that uses verifiable randomness to ensure token launches are fair and manipulation-resistant.
Traditional launchpads rely on block timestamps or miner-controlled randomness, which can be gamed. By leveraging the dcipher network's threshold randomness primitives via randomness-js and randomness-solidity, the launchpad generates randomness that no single party can predict or influence.
The tool handles the full lifecycle: random winner selection, verifiable proof generation, and on-chain settlement. It demonstrates how threshold cryptography moves beyond academic curiosity into practical DeFi infrastructure.
